Obligation - Word of the Week

As students of learning, you must add obligation to your vocabulary. Oftentimes, we fail to accomplish a task because we see no personal or short term benefits from the task at hand. To overcome the desire to quit, you must focus on your obligation. Obligation means to do something because it is the right thing to do

As students of learning, you are obligated to finish your courses, you are obligated to finish your program of study. You are obligated to get that tassel and graduate.

Why?

You are driven by your sense of obligation to become a lifelong learner instead of quitting in your pursuit of enhancing yourself. Remember, if you feel the urge to quit, stop, or evening to cease in your pursuit of an education, think about your obligation to a better YOU.

Now get that tassel at Wallace Community College.
