Word of the Week - Sciential

Our word of the week is sciential. Sciential means having efficient knowledge, and the term capable is its synonym. Sciential is an adjective that poets often utilize in their poems. Yet, our students of learning demonstrate sciential reasoning when studying for exams and reports. For example, "The hidden treasures of science, St. Bonaventure tells us, can be discovered … in a knowledge of either the principles or the conclusions of sciential demonstrations."
By John Francis Quinn, The Historical Constitution of St. Bonaventure's Philosophy, 1973

Now get that Tassel at Wallace Community College.
