Today's word of the week is
Hapless.
Hapless means to have no luck or unfortunate. As students of learning, one may feel
hapless throughout their semester when course work becomes challenging or they don't score as well on a test or assignment as they had hoped. To avoid many
hapless events in an educational journey, one should set academic goals and use campus resources such as the writing center or the LRC. Although some
hapless times are bound to happen, it is important to pick back up and conquer your mission. As we are headed into a new semester, remember to remain focused and don’t become that
hapless student.
