Aegis -- Word of Week

Our word of the week is aegis. Aegis is a noun that means protection or controlling influence. As students you must realize that an educational setting is a learning opportunity. However, a master student recognizes the broader aegis of education. For instance, the aegis of education enables one to experience additional opportunities that are unavailable for less privileged individuals.
